As you know, there’s only two more days ‘till the weekend, and there’s no better way to spend “Hump Day” then checking out our newest installment of “weird web stories” courtesy of BBIMI.

#MyBeautifulBabyGirl

Yesterday the unthinkable happened. A mother gave birth to a baby girl and gave her a social media inspired first name. No, she wasn’t named Twitter or Facebook, although the origin of the name comes from Twitter. The baby was named Hashtag. Yes, Hashtag, as in the familiar Twitter keyword identifier (ex. I am starving #hungry). The mother’s Facebook post last night went viral after she posted a picture of the baby with this grammatically challenged caption, “She weys 8pounds and i luv her so much!!!!!!” This is just getting #ridiculous. Thou Shall Floor It

A Florida woman (believe it or not) was pulled over near Fort Pierce for allegedly doing 100 mph in 30 mph zone. Now speeding tickets are a problem most of us have to deal with, but the woman’s excuse as to why she was speeding is what makes this story very interesting. When police questioned why she was going 70 mph over the posted limit, she explained it was “because I was letting the Lord spirit [sic] guide me.” Yes, God was telling her to recklessly speed. This odd excuse did not impress the officers and she was arrested and taken to St. Lucie County Jail. (via Huffington Post)

Arrested For Breaking and Tidying?

An Ohio woman was sentenced to probation for one year after breaking into a Cleveland home, cleaning it and leaving a bill for $75 dollars. The woman known as the “cleaning fairy” told authorities she was driving by the house and “wanted something to do.”  So she broke in, washed some coffee cups, took out the trash, vacuumed and dusted inside the house. Then she left a bill written on a napkin and included her phone number. The “cleaning fairy” actually owns a cleaning business, and you know what they say, even bad publicity is good publicity.
