Headlines
-The Miami Heat have won 18 straight games, beating the Indiana Pacers (The last team to beat the Heat) 105 to 91. They look to win their 19th straight against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday. (via ESPN)
– Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade has won the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the week of March 4th through 10th. Kobe won the Western Conference Player of the Week. (via NBA)
– In World Baseball Classic news, the American team beat the Canadian team 9 to 4 yesterday to advance to the second round of the tournament. They play Puerto Rico tomorrow at 8pm in Marlins Park in Miami. (via MLB)
– The Miami Dolphins re-signed free agent WR Brian Hartline to a 5 year $30 million deal last week. Look for the Dolphins to make more free agent moves this week! (via Miami Herald)
– After beating Clemson on Saturday, the Miami Hurricanes basketball team clinched their first ever regular season ACC Championship. The Canes look to take this winning momentum into the ACC tournament and then into March Madness. (via State of the U)
