Fun Friday: Entrance To Bieber’s Crib Requires Liability & Non-Disclosure Waiver
What happens at Justin Bieber’s house allegedly stays at Justin Bieber’s house! The 19-year-old Canadian pop singer is threatening to sue house guests for a whopping $5 million if they post pictures or comments online about their visits to his California residence. According to TMZ, Bieber is requiring guests to his $6.5 million house in Calabasas, Calif. to sign liability waiver and release forms before entering the dwelling. Click below to read more!
The form indicates that if anyone posts information about the “physical health, or the philosophical, spiritual or other views or characteristics” of Justin or his guests online, including Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, they should expect to pay.
As if that isn’t ridiculous enough, the document is also incredibly thought-provoking about what really goes down in one of Justin Bieber’s shindigs.
It states that while partying “Project X style,” there may be activities that are “potentially hazardous and you should not participate unless you are medically able or properly trained.” That’s because, according to the form, there are “certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated completely, ranging from minor injuries to catastrophic injuries, including death.”
This is not the first time the “Biebs” has required guests to sign a waiver to come one of his parties, however. In 2010, the singer made the parents of kids attending his Sweet 16 bash sign waivers indicating that they understood the risk that their child was facing by attending the party.
The Biebs also made news this week after rock star Jon Bon Jovi called him out for showing up two hours late to his own concert.
“Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new,” Bon Jovi told the London Evening Standard. “They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives — or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives. Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you.”
