Yesterday’s match-up between the AFC rival Miami Dolphins and New York Jets was hyped by trash-talking from both parties, but after the first quarter we saw which team all talk. Despite losing starting QB Ryan Tannehill to a knee injury in the first quarter, the Dolphins wiped the Jets in MetLife Stadium 30-9 just five weeks after the Jets beat the Dolphins in OT at Sun Life Stadium. This win put the Dolphins (4-3) into second place in the AFC East, and moved the Jets (3-5) into last place.

Seven Years ago in October, Hurricane Wilma tore through South Florida leaving 6 million people without power and causing $600,000,000 dollars in damage. BB Insurance Marketing’s Davie office also suffered significant damage. We were left with damage to our phones, switchboards, internet, roofs, electricity and air conditioning. After countless doubts from the media and a growing number of “Heat Haters”, the Miami Heat experiment paid off last season with the team winning an NBA Championship in a definitive series against the favorited Oklahoma City Thunder. Lebron James, being at the forefront of all the Heat’s criticism, managed to lead the Heat to their second NBA Title and his very first NBA Finals MVP. After all is said and done, many critics feel like one title is not enough for the talented Heat, so this year they look to defend their championship and try and win it again.
